About This Section

This section of Coastal Drawer Almanac deals with cabinetry in Austin, TX and nothing else, which is what allows it to get specific.

Editorial Approach

Guides concentrate on judgement calls rather than procedure. Technique belongs to the contractor, so it is covered only where a homeowner's choice depends on it.

Where a Professional Takes Over

Nothing published here replaces a professional inspection. Treat it as preparation for getting a quote rather than as a substitute for one.

Why the Focus Is Narrow

Coverage stays narrow on purpose. A page trying to address every trade in every city ends up saying nothing specific about any of them, and specifics are the only part worth reading.

Commercial Position

Coastal Drawer Almanac has no stake in which firm a reader ends up hiring. No contractor pays for placement, for a ranking, or for a particular opinion.
